The Hero Maestro Edge comes in 110.9 cc and 125 cc engine versions. The 110.9 cc, BS6‐FI model delivers about 8.15-8.75 PS of power around 7,250-7,500 rpm and torque of 8.7-8.75 Nm. The 125 cc version produces around 9.12 PS power at 7,000 rpm with 10.4 Nm torque at about 5,500 rpm. It has automatic transmission (CVT / variomatic drive), self + kick start options. The scooter weighs around 111-112 kg (kerb weight), comes with a fuel tank of approximately 5-5.5 litres, and offers a claimed mileage of 65 kmpl for the 110 cc version. It uses telescopic front suspension and unit swing (spring-loaded hydraulic damper) at the rear. Tyres are tubeless (front 90/90-12, rear 90/100-10), alloy wheels in higher trims, drum brakes at both ends for 110 cc base; the 125 cc top trims have a 190 mm front disc brake and rear drum.
